Golf Science Certification

Science Caddie offers affordable and biomechanically focused Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to professionals in the golfing industry. Science Caddie wants to support professionals with their knowledge and understanding of golf science and provide them with a way to evidence their CPD to their clients.

Power Cert Info

Power I Certification

If you are a PGA Professional, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer or Physiotherapist and would like to become certified for 'Power I', purchase the 'Power Package + Cert' option. Once you have attended all three sessions (Parts 1 & 2) of the 'Generating Power in the Golf Swing' topic, you will then need to pass an online assessment to gain certification.

Once certified you receive a Science Caddie Digital Certificate and a Digital Certification Badge, which you can put on your social media accounts, email signature and websites to advertise your knowledge.

The Power I Badge certifies that you:

  • Understand the link between distance and golfing performance

​

  • Understand the key variables that impact distance

​

  • Understand the biomechanics that are linked to the generation of clubhead speed.

​

  • Understand how the biomechanics typically differ between higher skilled and less skilled golfers

Injuries I Certification

If you are a PGA Professional, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer or Physiotherapist and would like to become certified for 'Injuries I', purchase the 'Injuries I + Cert' option. Once you have attended both sessions (Parts 1 & 2) of the 'Biomechanics of Golfing Injuries' topic, you will then need to pass an online assessment to gain certification.

Once certified you receive a Science Caddie Digital Certificate and a Digital Certification Badge, which you can put on your social media accounts, email signature and websites to advertise your knowledge.

The Injuries I Badge certifies that you:

  • Understand the prevalence of injuries in golf

​

  • Understand the anatomy of the spine and associated structures

​

  • Understand why certain movements can cause damage to the lower back 

​

  • Understand the key movements in the golf swing that can increase injury risk  

What does 'Science Caddie Certified' mean?

'Science Caddie Certifed' means that the owner of Science Caddie confirms that on the date of certificate validation:

  • This individual had attended the required sessions for this certificate.

  • This individual had passed the required assessment for this certificate.

  • This individual had demonstrated the required knowledge and understanding for this certificate.
